  • Permits renewed!

Today I was able to not only renew my federal permit, but also I was able to get the closed circuit radio system repaired! I am back in contact by radio with civil protection from the state of Tamaulipas, and the system is working better than ever. I am the 911 guy here, and the radio system is very important. I guess a lightning hit the tower or something, but it's repaired and working fine now. I can reach not only Nuevo Laredo, but Anahuac as well. the citizens band radio needs a microphone, The ambulance system is up and running as well, and the micro from the base is now in the ambulance. The red and blue light bar is back installed on the escort, and maybe tomorrow I'll install the siren system. Things are definitely getting back to normal! All I can do is thank God, and keep doing what I've been doing.

  • Busy Thursday!

Today was Marthas birthday, yes, she's a teenager now..........13 years old. We had a good time, some cake, coke, a few gifts, and the one that took center stage was the 100 peso phone card for her cell phone! She's definitly growing up! I also completed several of the opening overhead doors on the pew factory. I hed to complete the feet that hold them up when they are open. A lot of welding, but now there is only one of the 9 that doesn't have feet. I fabricated the parts here also. The entire work area can open up, making 2200 square feet under shade, with 4 big ceiling fans for work in the summer. I'll finish the last one tomorrow. I had been opening them by propping them up on 2 x 4s, but thats really unsafe given the weight of the doors. The new system is very stable and safe. The completed ones I've already tested in a high windstorm by opening them all and seeing if anything failed, nothing did! Tomorrow, I'll be making a detailed inventory of Bibles, tracts, booklets, and even of clothing I have on hand for needy people. I'll also get some pictures of the completed factory all opened up, with machinery in place now ready for operation!
